  Best Lebanese food you can have in LA. Everything is tasty and delicious and the owners are lovely! It is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner or any occasion.the service is great and the setting is nice!

  My absolute favorite when I was in LA. I remember feeling like home for the first time since I moved to los angeles from lebanon when I stepped into the restaurant. Its been a year but I can still taste their food and remember the waitress whose name was Rita, miss smiley who always helped me choose the best from the menu.

  Its a dining pleasure the lighted palm trees the friendliness of the staff takes you to the Sahara. If you’re in a hurry then don’t go here serve you fast get you out turn the table is not fine dining or graciousness. Phoenicia knows that. So if you want to Relax enjoy and feel fine original regional food then yes try something different and learn something. Each time I introduce this secret to someone they Thank me… A plus the double apple hooka..;)

  A Night I Wish I Could Forget. I visited the Phoenicia last night to attend a birthday party. I was told by the hostess that the cost per person was $43.00 which included listening to a band and watching a show which was scheduled to begin a 10 p.m. When I advised her that I had to leave by 8 or 8:30 p.m., she asked that I call the restaurant and verify if the cost would still be $43.00. A man answering the phone stated that if I did not intend to watch the show I could order off the menu. Last night I was informed I could not order off the menu and that the cost was $43.00 per person. We were told that dinner would be served at 7 p.m. At 8 p.m. an array of cold appetizers were finally delivered to our table. All the dishes were the average generic fare you find at any middle Eastern restaurant, including dolmai and hummas (lots and lots and lots of hummas). At about 9 p.m., the waiter picked up the dishes and silverware and another waiter announced that the shish kabobs (another typical dish) would be out in a few minutes. At 9:40 p.m. I handed another guest $86.00 to pay for my meal and that of another guest and left, disgusted with the horrendous level of service this well-known restaurant provided. The food is mediocre in flavor. Some of it is even insipid. A group of guess in our party did not attend and so the restaurant staff brainstormed and provided us with their appetizers. Unfortunately, no one touched the second helping as it was just too much of the same thing. The staff is ignorant about what constitutes good service. It evidently has never occurred to the owner that if you are going to charge high prices you might wish offer food that falls outside the usual daily fares you can purchase at far less expensive eateries. Also, the place is nothing to look at. A little tacky and very loud. I recommend visiting Damon’s on Brand Blvd or Clancy’s or even BJ’s. Any of these have far superior food and offer exemplary service.
