Great!. My fiance and I came here yesterday and had a fabulous dinner. The decor is so elegant and beautiful, but still felt comfortable that I wasn’t in formal wear. The service was attentive and helpful. The menu is traditional French Mediterranean cuisine, prepared masterfully and they even had some imported specialties that I didn’t know I could get in my hometown of Glendale! I had the soup du jour, which was cream of broccoli and it was so fresh and creamy. It was delightful. My fiance had the pierre garden salad and it was amazing. It had pears and a cooked cherry tomato, which was a wonderful twist we loved. My fiance had the Kobe black label burger, which was huge and oh so tasty and also came with a humungous plate of fries. I had the COQ AU VIN, which is the classic french braised chicken in pinot noir garnished with pearl onions, wild mushroom and mashed carrot, exquisite! They had a wide variety of wines from France and we paired all that with two glasses of Pinot Noir. All of their plates are big, so we left no room for dessert. We were so impressed, we are going back tonight for dessert and champagne and to watch their weekend entertainment variety show they have often.

I was very disapointed. The quality of food is very poor. The Pommes Allumettes aka French Fries were soggy, imbibed in oil, imposible to eat. The Onion Soup was extermely salty. If they ask you how you want the meat to be cooked, don’t bother to tell them, mine was overcooked, although I asked for medium done. They need to hire a real cook. Otherwise the service is decently polite.
