Stopped by Recess for dinner with friends this weekend. This was my second time dining here & I have yet to be extremely pleased with my experience. The service is subpar – all of the staff is nice but nonexistent. It was nearly empty when we were there and it took over 15 minutes to get water. This is similar to my experience my first time there. The food is decent, not too bad but not outstanding. The names of the items on the menu are cute though & fit into the recess/grade school theme. Very friendly service, warm atmosphere, nice selection of teas and good food. Can connect to Wi-fi.
Great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Really enjoyed everything I’ve tried on the menu. I’ve become a regular here.
