Golden Road Brewing Glendale offers a simple proposition to visitors, and thats the opportunity to drink great beers and eat top notch pub food in a vibrant, friendly space. Co-founders Tony Yanow (Mohawk Bend, Tonys Darts Away) and Meg Gill modeled the space after the large, spacious bier halls of central Europe with a decidedly LA twist. …
A great spot to hang with friends, celebrate, or just relax after work.Seventeen excellent original beers on tap, to satisfy anyones taste. The pub food selections are fresh and well prepared. Of note were the GRB ground ribeye burger, Softshell Crab Sandwich, and the Pretzel Mac, chili mac n cheese with bacon, served in a pretzel bowl.Bonuses are brewery tours thrice daily and Live Band Karaoke on Monday nights, where anyone can be an LA rock star!
This is a great lunch spot during the week and even better during the weekend. Come take a tour of the brewery to learn about the 40,000+ barrels of beer they create. The free guided tour offers a step-by-step stroll from the bags of grain to canning. Sometimes visitors even get a taste of beer straight from the tanks. Tours are offered Friday-Sunday at 1:30, 2:30, and 4pm. Sign-up inside The Pub at Golden Road. Tours are limited to groups of 20 or less. They want guests to wear flat, closed-toed shoes on the tour. You will learn about the 6 core brands that include Point The Way IPA, Heal The Bay IPA, Wolf Among Weeds IPA, 329 Lager, Golden Road Hefeweizen and Get Up Brown. You will learn that throughout the year, they also offer seasonal beers. They just released a Saison Citron brewed with Meyer lemons. It offers a delicate saison with a champagne-like effervescence. It’s available to-go and on draft in Los Angeles & in Orange County taprooms. After the tour, go get a flight of beer and some food. They have Bavarian pretzels with spicy mustard, sandwiches, burgers, brunch fare, and a kids menu. They also offer food and drink specials. It could be Irish Red or Irish Stout on tap paired with corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. They offer vegan options too, such as vegan croissant sandwich with tofu scrambled, and a classic vegan burger made with a quinoa patty.Looking for something sweet? They serve a croissant bread pudding and an ice cream sundae.Hang out, play a game, and take home a growler. dineandtravel.wordpress.com
