We happened upon Toasted Bun after Dollar Rent A Car stranded us at LAX all night. What an oasis! The service was friendly and amusing, the coffee was so perfect, and the Huevos Rancheros was a show stopper. So delicious and the ambiance is comfortable with a hometown feel. Just exactly the experience and nourishment we needed!
Like going home. If you like a great, unpretentious coffee house with decent food and very reasonable prices, this is your spot. Food is consistently good, especially the soups made fresh every day. Servers are real people who get to know you and make you feel at home. New owners have spruced up the place and are very friendly and accomodating as well. Feels like a diner in small town America, which Glendale used to be, but no longer is. Somehow this place has retained the friendly, small town vibe. Just don’t tell anyone about this jewel of a place!
