Unfortunately, they’ve closed. Everyone’s hoping they’ll reopen soon!. Frank’s has been around for ever. 60+ years! We miss Jack and Patty. No other place like it! Fresh, awesome, pizza. You may have had to wait an hour because what the negative viewer didn’t know is that their phone is ringing off the hook an hour before they even open. They’ll have orders piled up for call-ins before any sit down orders are even taken. Dog food? Are you kidding? Maybe he/she is used to the sausage pellets and dime sized pepperoni, but not here. It’s worth the wait. Oh gods was it worth the wait. Home made pizza sauce. Fresh toppings, right off the deli slicer. Pepperoni and sausages the size of your hand! Not kidding! They have to cut them in quarters they’re so big. My two absolute favorite pizzas in the whole world: pepperoni & garlic, and sausage & olive. The garlic fries and toasts on top of the huge pepperoni slices, everything getting all crispy! The colossal sausages are just so amazing when you take a bite of that pizza.My brother and I would make a six hour round trip drive from the Bay Area to Grass Valley just to get some pizza. We’d take 3 medium take-and-bakes home with us, and we’d be set for a month.Why oh why did they have to close?! A taste of Elysium, and it’s be taken from me. The gods are cruel. 🙁
Best I ever had. My wife and I stopped by after walking thru town and ordered a small combination. I was so surprised how high the toppings were piled and it tasted so good. We couldnt even finish it all,…yay for leftovers. I definetley reccommend this pizza to anyone who loves gooood food.
Loved it. I brought my family to Grass Valley for the car show and stumbled upon Franks Pizza. The pizza was wonderful and the ice cold beer in frozen mugs was the best. We ordered a large Franks combo for four of us and had plenty to eat. We will be back!
After waiting 1 hour for our pizza with only one other check to cook our pizza was served wrong it looked like a dog threw up on it and it had a weird odor to it our server never asked how our meal was never gave us a check the quality nor the service was even close for them to brag they were voted best pizza in Nevada county! I will NEVER go back yuk yuk yuk
