My favorite. Kaido is my favorite sushi restaurant in Grass Valley/Nevada City. The rolls are great and the fish is super-fresh. They book up so be sure you make your reservation a couple days in advance.
Quality place. Best Japanese restaurant in the Nevada City, Grass Valley area, I have known San Fran locals that make a 2 and a half hour drive to eat at this place, yes it is that good. If you consider yourself a sushi connoisseur or just loove sushi look no further. Great tempura, amazing apps, their deep fried salmon app,Sake Karage, is to die for. Very Proffessional kitchen, quiet. Five stars.
