TERRIBLE FOOD!!! BAD,BAD SREVICE. Marias is by far the WORST mexican restaurant!!! The service? is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! The food finally comes eventually, and when it is warm at best and/or the order is wrong and is not made to a real mexican recipe. Our oders had to be sent back. The last time we went to Marias, we had another complaint about the food and service. Nelson initially came to our table, but instead of talking to us and listening he turned his back to ring up a customers bill. Do yourself a favor – DO NOT EAT AT MARIAS!!!

Try the Huevos Rancheros. Maria’s Mexican Restauarant is known for their excellent food, fabulous outdoor patio and lively bar, but perhaps it’s time to try their breakfast. Open for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 1pm, you can enjoy some heuvos rancheros while your kids have pancakes and french toast. Located at 226 Mill Street in downtown Grass Valley, you can’t miss them, they’re the only adobe building in the entire historic district.
Maria’s has good service and even better food. I enjoyed their tacos with fried rice and refried beans. At the end of your meal, try their deep fried ice cream (its delicious!)
The Best Mexican in Grass Valley. Living in the foothills means beautiful weather and scenery. It also means a lot of restaurants that will rip off the tourists. Hey! We’re locals! Not so with Maria’s. Food is very good. A little pricey for what you get but far from being a rip off. The decor is very nice. Service can be spotty depending on who you get. The dishes are very consistant. If you like a perticular dish you can be sure it will be prepared the same way each and every time you visit.
Not the best Mexican food I’ve had but definately the best in grass valley.
Overpriced. Overpriced for the quality of Mexican food. Nothing really jumps out at me from many years of dining there occasionally.
