Great Breakfast. I have eaten here many times when in Grass Valley. The food is great and always well prepared. Paulette must be great to work for because most of the wait staff have been there for years. And a great staff it is. You want for nothing while under Paulette’s roof!It may seem like a simple thing, but Paulette’s seems to be one of the few restaurants in this country that knows how to butter toast and cook hash browns. In my opinion, they are both always perfect here.
We were welcomed by a warm fireplace and a friendly smile. This restaurant has cozy country decor and some local crafts and art for sale. We had breakfast there and it was fantastic. They went over the top to make my kids comfortable. Be sure to ask for some homemade strawberry jam; and yes we did get to meet Paulette.
I love the warm relaxed ambience, friendly staff, and the fried red potatoes melt on your tongue, light and flavorful. I love that they serve their pancakes and waffles with melted butter, and they don’t skimp on you!!! Mmmm
