Great mahi tacos and they can make them gluten-free! Loved the food and nearby the beach. They have an array of beers on tap, with a few local brews as well.

Poor service, great food!. My husband and I sat at the bar since the wait was long even though it wasn’t full. The bartender didn’t make eye contact w/us, he seemed overwhelmed. A lady was called and saved the day! She made our drinks and took our order efficiently, and then left. We waited a long time for our appetizer. We finally asked for it and the man asked us if we ordered garlic calamari. Noooo we didn’t. O lord, we started to panick when the lady came back with our order of regular calamari. It was amazing! Not long after our order came. We ordered the fried cod and an ahi salad. The fish was incredible! The lady comped the calamari so the bill was like $35. We left going hmmm? If the service was good it would’ve been a nice experience.

Best grilled salmon in years.. Great service, excellent food, at very reasonable prices in a relaxed Mexican setting. The crabby cheesy bread was very tasty and not too large. The Bloody Mary was super spicy, and the Irish Margarita was unique. My salmon was a large serving, crusted with lemon pepper and cooked perfectly, for only 16.95.

The only thing that would make this better is an ocean view. Large portions, fresh fish, fair prices. Love it : )

The place of good food in HMB. I was afraid that this place is not fully appreciated. Why? Because this is not a sea side restaurant, does not sell T-shirts with its logo and it is one of the first restaurants entering Half Moon Bay, easy to overlook when driving from San Mateo. Well.. 84% like it! They shall do something right! First of all is the food! Everything is so good and so fresh. Second is the price, which is quite reasonable. Third is the service; I like people smiling and friendly. Shall I mention that there is sufficient parking around? Please do not miss it. Before first traffic light look left and go no further. If you are a traveler with only one day in the area go here; you will not regret.

Had enchiladas, prawn salad and grulled scallops. All three were very good. Service was better than average. Would eat here again.

It’s been a long time…. (as we don’t live in HMB anymore), but this used to be one of our old standbys for a quick snack. Love the shrimp tacos. Still have to give it a great review for old times sake.
