Great place. Fantastic location. What ambience and history. Ok .. let’s talk abt food. The scallop and angel hair is superb and worth the visit all by itself. The fish and chips made in beer batter is wonderful and a greatly recommended. Also the shrimp starter is so fresh and is the way to start ur food. Now my fav part if the meal. .. Deserts . The tiramisu is light and delicious and so is the bread pudding.

Unique dining experience. Miramar Beach Inn – originally a Speakeasy and drop point for Canadian smugglers during Prohibition. Formerly a hangout for Mafia families. Rumour has it that the kitchen cupboards had secret springs and rotating shelves. When the police raided the place, they found canned goods on the shelves. After they left, the shelves rotated to reveal the hidden booze bottles! Now, it is rustic ocean front dining. The staff could use better manners some days but the food is excellent. Take a look at the historical photos on the walls. 30 minute drive down the coast from Pier 39, San Francisco.
