Words I can think of to describe this experience are appetizing, delightful, rich and exquisite ! Situated in the pleasant Half Moon Bay neighborhood, this heavenly place is a must go for Italian food lovers. I was hoping to taste different world cuisines during my trip to CA. On a sunny Saturday afternoon we found this master piece lying low as any good restaurant.My special thanks to the waiting staff who explained the entire menu and suggested us the dishes based on our expectations. I usually do not like sea food that easily but the dish – Linguini Pan Seared Ahi Tuna has been a show stopper for me. Tuna fish was so artistically roasted and the way they presented was mouth watering. They have a good range of wine to supplement the food. Overall had a pleasant experience and kudos to the people managing it.
Had a great experience with Steve, great food as well, and the owner Kim was very nice. Will definitely enjoy the food, atmosphere and people again soon.
I have to be honest; most in house made pasta leaves me wishing that the chef had just sourced a good factory pasta. Not so with Pasta Moon; my lasagna was excellent. My son & Father both thourghly enjoyed their seafood puttanesca. My wife loves her pork chop. Bone up on your knowledge of Italian reds because the wine list is expansive.
Excellent! Incredibly fresh…. The concierge at the Ritz Carlton, HMB highly reccomended and proved to be an excellent choice!! The lasagna was incredibly light and the grilled peach salad was a perfect blend of sweet and savory.
Chock full of awesomeness. We recommend checking out Pasta Moon. We ate in the bar, where you can order from the full menu. Excellent roasted butternut squash ravioli, house made sausage pizza. Attentive service without being intrusive. Save room for dessert. Very good meal.

Very good Italian, in a charming town. After a 10-day journey through northern California, we wanted one more good meal before catching an early flight. Pasta Moon delivered! The lasagna is the house special, and it is delicious. We happened to be there during the Pumpkin Festival, so there were a variety of yummy pumpkin-inspired dishes, including pumpkin gnocchi in a goat-cheese cream sauce. Especially for those out-of-towners staying near the airport who are on the fence, I suggest making the trip to Pasta Moon. In addition to enjoying delicious Italian, you can stroll the charming streets of Half Moon Bay.
