  Superb. I went here for my birthday and I’m finally getting around to writing a review. I had a party of 7 and it wasn’t as long as a wait as the estimated time we were given by our host which was 3 hours. We waited maybe 1.5 hrs which went by quickly. We took pictures outside. I highly recommend taking the path to the beach access, there’s lawn chairs and spectacular views of the water and the golf course. When we were finally seated, we sat in the middle which had the most seating. They send you a text when your table is ready. The larger party you have, essentially, the longer you wait. Call early to make sure they don’t have any special events going on because that’ll make it a longer wait. Also, they don’t take reservations whatsoever so just come early for lunch or just soak of the beautiful scenery while you wait. You’ll forget your wait time. It’s a such a nice drive there, I don’t see why anyone would complain about the wait. It’s Ritz Carlton, cmon you pay for the service and the name. We had the view of the ocean outside as well as the lawn which was being prepped for a wedding at the time. The server was knowledgable and made it possible for me to create something off the menu. Being a being, I can personally say their menu isn’t vegan friendly at all, but I called ahead and mentioned I had dietary restrictions. I suggest anyone to do the same for anyone celebrating an event so they can premake a dessert for you. Thee server told me the desserts were already made in the morning so the chef couldn’t make them for me then, but call ahead next time. The food was aesthetically pleasing. They took the effort to make the plates presentable. The chef created a vegetable saut of seasonals with pasta and sauce. I was happy it was tasty. I tried the carrot fries and it wasn’t bad, but my niece liked it. Their fries were really good, I wished they served truffle fries until 4. I’m sure they would’ve been tasty. I’ll have to come back next time. They have smaller bites for younger patrons. Theres grilled cheese sandwich which comes with a side of fries. Their serving size is decent for lunch hour. We didn’t wait too long for our food. While waited, we indulged on their delicious bread and their phenomenal olive oil and vinegarette combo which was nothing ive had before. As I’ve mentioned before, deserts aren’t vegan friendly unless you can it in the morning. My party ordered the Carlton cake and I had a very small bite of it, was rich. We also ordered a fudge dessert. Every dessert that came out of the kitchen looked yum, it was just too bad I couldn’t have any, but judging from people’s reaction, it was Prob good. They validate valet parking for $10 which is added on to the bill which is convenient. Price wasn’t bad it was close to $300 for 7 people. I’d go again for the experience. The grounds is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to go back again. There’s drinks and lighter fare downstairs on their patio. Great venue to take the family on a nice outing. Also a great venue to take friends or a date who can appreciate an upscale venue. Gorgeous.

  Love This Place!. We have been in Half Moon Bay alot lately on business. The Conservatory serves excellent food and is less expensive than Navio. On Thurs. nights they have a Jazz N Burgers night which is alot of fun. Beautiful views, great cocktails (be prepared to pay $16 for one) and first-class service. 🙂

  Nice View. The Conservatory is the lounge adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay’s upscale Navio restaurant. The menu here is mostly cocktails and simple items like fish and chips and burgers. I had the fish & chips and the rockfish was excellent.The view of the Pacific Ocean is beautiful and if you’re here on a clear afternoon, you’ll be impressed!
