Its been about 5 years since eating here. It was awesome then and its awesome now. Locals and weekenders alike fill this space for delectable offerings. There were seven of us and I have more pics that I could share but Im maxed out. The young locally grown fava beans were a daily special and so dang yummy, we ordered more. The chef comes out of the kitchen to visit and the service is absolutely on point. The food is just so fresh and seasoned perfectly as well.

Was visiting Healdsburg for a night and ended up here on suggestion from one of the workers in a tasting room. We didn’t need a reservation and were seated right away. Burata appetizer was good. Had the tagliatelle with mushrooms and scallops which was rich and delicious with a few good sized scallops. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they treated us to a complimentary tiramisu. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. This place is definitely worth checking out.

Very Nice Experience at Baci!. My wife and I ate there on 01 Dec 2011…and we had a really nice time! I had the Penne alla Puttanesca which was simply outstanding! Wife had Agnolotti d’ Aragosta (lobster ravioli) which was also really good. We chatted with the head chef too…very interesting background. He is married to the owner. It was a Thursday night and not crowded so we had a glass of wine at the bar and chatted with the owner (Lisbeth) and the bar guy…both quite friendly. The menu prices (check their menu out) are more than reasonable for the Heladsburg area…we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Bad Experience. My friend and I went for dinner in late Oct. We did not have a reservation; however, they were not very busy. We waited for a good 20-30 minutes (again, they were not busy). At one point, a couple came in without a reservation and were seated immediately in a nice table by the window. Once we were finally seated, we were placed in a small table at the very back of the restaurant in a cramped corner. We hoped the service would get better from there but unfortunately, it only got worse. We had to get up three times during the time we were there (over 2 hours) to get service. On top of all this the food was not very good. To top the evening, when we got home and my friend checked her statement, they had added a $50 tip to the bill! Not sure what happened between 2010 and now but I would recommend any other restaurant in town, even McD’s!

The ambiance reminds me of an olive garden.. Why is it so bright? Scarpaccio tasted like bacon and the fruiti de mare tasted like rice a roni.. After complaining the chef asked where I ate Scarpaccio last, why does it matter, it was horrible anyway. I may be from NYC but I would prefer red lobster

Really nice people and food. We were greeted by hostess and waiter very graciously. Had reservations and they thanked me and had saved us a special table! Food was a nice break from some of the really ‘California-style’ meals elsewhere in Healdsburg-delicious full portion Italian entrees you know and love, with an added excellence. My husband had wagyu steak that melted in your mouth and I had a yummy, homey pasta casserole browned in the pizza oven. Really recommend lots of places in this town, but especially this one.
