Great Brewery and food. Bear Republic is my favorite brewery. The selection of food offered is outstanding. I had a cup of the Wild Game soup which consisted of Wild boar, venison, antelope, chorizo for the protein and it was excellent. The maple leaf duck burger and the beer were very good as well.
Good pub grub and could take large groups. It’s know for beer. Have some. There’s lots to choose.
Good food, good beer…. …interesting aroma. This is a working brewer and the patron is in no way protected from the, how should we say, somewhat off-putting odors of the brewing process. It hits you in the face but you adapt quickly, they have patio seating if it’s to much for you. I can only assume that the brewing aromas are not always present as the place was packed. Simple sandwiches and burgers for lunch but the menu brings on the pub favorites. It was so busy that the staff somehow managed to charge our meal to a larger group that left twenty minutes before us. Our waiter apologized for the free meal and got a $20 tip for his outrageous blunder.
Best place to hang on a weekend with your family
Award-winning beer, worth the visit. Food and service are touch and go. Try the Jamaican burger and garlic fries. Beer is always consistent.
