OK and good but not up to the Hype. I read that they offer one of the best 25 burgers in the country. I got my burger and it was OK but seemed very average. It had a nice char on the outside with lots of juice around the burger but seemed kind of dry inside. The sourdough roll was a perfect size to the burger and the house made pickles were delicious. This place is worth a try when you are in the area.

My wife had their hamburger, which was good, but after having a taste of the Salmon Pita, she wishes she had ordered the Salmon Pita! Food was very good and the service was excellent…very attentive! OK place, overcharged on CC. It was an ok place, one of the few places open on New Years. Had some kind of burgers and beer. In a couple of days there was an extra charge of $8 added to the credit card charge. When we called they said sorry and took it off, but makes me concerned. I would check my credit card bill after going here.
Thursday Dinner. I had dinner at the HBG on a Thursday night. I had a chicken breast sandwich that came with a leafy salad. Both the sandwich and the salad were very good. My partner had a Ceasar salad which was nothing special. It would have helped to serve the salad with some bread. I thought the service was average. The prices were reasonable.
Food was great. The burgers are delicious and the sourdough bun it comes on is amazing! A little pricey though. It was about $40 for me and my boyfriend to eat. We each got a cheeseburger (they charge an extra dollar or so for cheese on it) and had chapoltle fries to share.
Truffle Fries!!!!. The food was good. Service was good for a packed Friday (Black Friday too). Table had burgers, salads, soup, and everyone enjoyed it. The meal stand out was definitely the truffle fries. They were outstanding. I’ve had truffle and duck fat fries before, but their truffle fries are my favorite!
Solid Burger and Fries. I’ve eaten nothing but burgers here on five different occasions with consistent results, always good. Always medium rare as requested.Truffle fries are tasty and the regular fries are consistent and crunchy. Plenty of sauces to dip in, with my preference being the aioli. Plenty of beers to choose from along with some local brews.Give it a try whether you’re a local or a visitor. Kid friendly.
