I think I had been here two times before, but it has been a while. I’ve never been to New Orleans but it is high in my list of eating destinations. Parish Cafe is what I would imagine hometown comfort food to be in this city. I love it!!! I had the special this morning. A soft shelled crab fried and served ‘Benedict style.’ It was perfect. I also had a side of the most creamy deelish grits I’ve ever tasted. Everyone’s food was exceptional and our server was top rate! Btw – if you’ve never had a beignet, come to Healdsburg, CA and get one. I’ve been here for lunch also and their Po Boy selection is fantastic as well.
