Try the mole sauce. Yum! You won’t be disappointed!
Nice flavorful dishes and the sauces salsas really taste unique and homemade. I didn’t find the portions quite commensurate to the price and the service was friendly albeit only1 server for 6 tables. Am looking to go back to try some more interesting looking menu items. 3.2 of 5 stars
Local favorite. Good value and good food, great combination.
Great little Mexican place. Food was tasty and you get quite a bit for the price you pay. The free tortilla’s chips are fresh and tasty along with their unique salsa’s and relish. Great service and the last time we were there, there was an older gentleman sweeping the floors. .. Turned out it was Jimmy Carter himself. Great to see an owner working side by side with his staff and not afraid to get down and dirty.
You have to get the Tlaquepaque (sp?). Hands down the absolute best thing on the menu.
Love it!. Consistently good from top to bottom! Let me say that again……consistently good from top to bottom! We’ve never been disappointed with any meal from Jimmy Carter’s!!
