Absolutely perfect. (visiting san diego from a town of very good food) We asked the owner to pick our dinner start to finish. We could not be more impressed. Seared artichokes(you will be guessing how they got mint to taste this way !) , goat cheese and walnut salad(freshest walnuts and still guessing the vinegarette ingredients) with arugula and cabbage, pork shank slowly cooked and then a port wine and mushroom reduction over a risotto like i have never tasted!, the dessert was unbelievable- all the freshest ingredients resulting in perfect flavor with an espresso. Aagh yum! And atmosphere:). Thank you arrivederci!.
This is the closest my wife and I have found to the wonderful pizza we ate in Italy. Thin (but not a flatbread), crisp (but not a cracker), and not swimming in cheese. Interesting yet simply flavor combinations and perfect delivery.
