Amazing food, amazing service, Hot waiter, just overall great restaurant. I will definitely be back because I tried their curry and fried rice which was very delightful although the fried rice didn’t have a lot of flavor. Love this place and the decor is cute as well.
So I love Thai food and love spicy food. Today I got a noodle dish from Asian Bistro that was so over spiced that it was uneatable. They offer a sliding scale of heat from 1-10. I chose 4 when I would typically select 6 or 7. 4 was outrageously hot. So much so that I had to throw it away. gastroventures.com
Meh. It was ok, perhaps a little disappointing given it has four stars on Yelp. I ordered take-out for the family, and it really wasn’t anything special. The best thing about it was the variety of cuisines – my kids had miso soup with extra tofu, I had honey walnut shrimp and my wife had hot and sour soup and Crying Tiger. The brown rice was al dente and more orange than brown. The kids liked the tofu but not the rest of the soup – it was on the salty side. The beef in the Tiger dish was dry. The food smelled great, but the taste and texture was a disappointment.
