Went on a Friday evening. Was packed & so loud, but got a great corner booth. Happy about sweet potato fries on the menu. Wine by the was a little expensive, but the burger experience made it worth while. Three of us shared burgers 1-3. 1 being the richest with gorgonzola & bacon, 2 was Italian inspired, and 3 had green chili & chipotle mayo. All great in their own way. We had a really great time trying this place out & will be back I’m sure.
Tastiest Burger I have had in a long time, and finally fried egg. It is not your $5 brewpub burger ( if that even exists anymore ) , but a quality product and great atmosphere for round $10-$12.
I went here with a coworker in the early afternoon and didn’t need dinner. The burgers are 9oz and very tasty. The fries were good and not overspiced oroversalted. Friendly wait staff who asked us how we would like our burgers cooked and warned us the default is a slightly pink medium. My only complaint was the microbrew (not their fault, the Mad River African Red Ale tasted like an IPA). I’mglad I triedthe place and that I hadn’t read some of thebad reviews first. A bit pricey for a burger place but I felt I got what I paid for.
We went there bases on it…. We went there based on it being part of Hilton Dining, wow, great food, great service! Burger was great, tuna burger was great, and my 3 year old’s pancakes were too!
Fatal First Visit. Being locals, we are always hopeful for & want to support a restaurant that serves good as opposed to not so run of the mill burger & fries food in HB. Loved Red Pearl Kitchen, but we understand the customer base here.We were excited to try this new venture (we thought upscale for for the downtown HB clientle)SOOOOO disappointed on this first visit, even the couple next to us commented on how way raw our order was.It was not only bleeding raw in the middle, it was barely charred & still soft raw & bleeding. We ordered it medium. The other couple were served before us even though we had been there much earlier & ordered before them.Don’t know if it was the service that forgot our order or what. It was disgusting & a let down.Other diners commented to us that our order was WAY underdone (perhaps they were rushed to get us our order?)We ordered after running into foodie friends that could not stop praising how good it was here.Whatta let down. We keep hoping for good food in HB, but we were so let down, that as we salivate at their menu & hope for the best, we were BEYOND than let down, we would love to support this restaurant, but once disappointed, twice shy?The service didn’t even try to make up for the disasterly meal.
One and out.
Great ambiance and good burgers
