Big disappointment tonight. Have eaten here at least four times before, so met my daughter here for a bite tonight out on the patio.Waiter pushed the half off bottle of wine but said they DID NOT HAVE A HAPPY HOUR altho it is listed on their website. Ordered a Merlot which the waiter said he would not personally drink, so I got a $7.00 Pinot Noir but it was hardly a 3 oz pour…I had to ask twice for the wine while we waited for the $15.95 pizza. It had about 12 blue cheese crumbles and 5 thin slices of pear with ham…..so very dry we left over half. Three waiters came to the table (two trainees) and seemed puzzled that we were not thrilled but they did offer to bring the dessert tray. No apology or other offer so for the $27.76 I won’t be coming back. There are too many other choices for food in this area!
Fantastic!. Ate here for the second time last night, and it was even better than the first time we came here. Ordered the shrimp scampi and fried mozzarella to start, the shrimp were to die for, proscuitto wrapped and served in a lemon cream sauce. You’ll need to get extra bread to soak up every last drop of the lemon cream sauce, but you’ll want extra bread anyway because it’s one of the best breads Ive had at an italian restaurant. The mozzarella wasnt anything special, but was still a good compliment to counter the richness of the shrimp. For our entrees, my friend and i split the veal marsala and the fusilli alla crecia w/ added italian sausage thanks to our servers recommendation. Both entrees were wonderful and the kitchen even split both entrees for us with no charge. Our server Diana was fabulous!! Knowledgable, efficient and personable. We came at 7:30 on a friday night and had to wait for about 30 min. so not too bad! The atmosphere is nice as well, small, quaint, romantic. I will definitely be back!
I love this place! My favorite dish is the farfalle o’sole mio and the lemon cheesecake is heavenly. Brought my mom here and she loves the cioppino soup. Everything I’ve had here has been great and freshly prepared. The staff is really friendly and always knowledgable probably because this place doesn’t seem to have a high turnover of their servers.
Amazing time after time!. Best Italian in Orange County here in Huntington Beach! We have been locals here for years, but time to let everyone else in on it! Fantastic service by Diana, Jose & Nina…all treat you like family. Wonderful creative dishes…Chicken Marsala, amazing Lamb, great filets and so many pasta choices you’ll have to keep coming back like we do. They just put in a full bar…Perfect place to unwind and relax. Soft lighting and a comfortable dining room. Oh, also fantastic pizzas and killer bruschetta…I could go on forever. Dino, the owner, is a creative chef and changes things up alot with great specials. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
Capone’s. Ordered the risotto. It was delicious. Cute, intimate, romantic atmosphere. Good service, friendly waiters. Moderately priced for an Italian place.
Fail. Great sauces, cozy atmosphere and, good service. Terrible quality coming out of the kitchen. Overcooked everything from the pasta to the tiny portions of meat.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Also has amazing service!
