I found this place from an app called happy hours. The 99cent beers made us decide to try it! Wow I was happy to see the resaurant was very nice. My boyfriend and i ordered all you can eat for 29.99 a person. Not bad. We definitely got our money’s worth!! 5 orders of filet mignon, spicy chicken, teriyaki chicken, marinated beef, cream cheese won tons, gyoza, miso soup, rice, sweet potatoes, grilled veggies, garlic noodles, smores, and ice cream!!!!! Wow!! Really fun too! You cook your food on your own grill. I can’t wait to go again!!!
My BF took me here for a special dinner and it was lovely. Food was good, nice atmosphere, and fun for something different than an average dinner out.
GYU-KaKu. We had an awesome dinner, I don’t normally rave about restaurants, but this place, was very friendly, the firepit was hot the beer was cold and the food was really GOOD! We will be back.VM
Very Well Marinated Meat. If you love Korean BBQ, give this place a try. Their meat is very well prepared and is so so so tender. Place has a nice atmosphere, and staff is pretty friendly.My only small gripe is that they advertise a happy hour, but usually aren’t ready for customers at their promised time, which I think is somewhat unprofessional.Can be pricey, but the satisfaction in your tummy and mouth will be well worth it.
Great Meat. Great Happy Hour.. Gyu Kaku is a Japanese BBQ joint, similar to Korean BBQ joints, where you cook your own meat over a grill. Gyu-Kaku has the best food. Their poke with seaweed salad is one of my favorite bites in the world. Their meat is so tender and flavorful. I love their sauces. There’s not one dish I didn’t love here. The only problem I’ve had with Gyu-Kaku was their prices. Prices are horrendously high and portions are tiny. Be careful how much you order, the bill can exceed $100 quickly and it won’t be a lot of food. However, they’ve started a new happy hour deals that make me very happy. Late night happy hour, from 9pm to close$2 Japanese draft$3 Meats50% off appetizers$2 Umeshu Sodas (plum wine with soda. I love this)Needless to say, I’ve been taking advantage of their happy hour and have been going a lot. Recession? What recession?
