Simply incredible!. Moving from the Manhattan we really thought we had our last amazing Italian meal. We almost came to terms with that until my husband’s co-worker told us we needed to try Luna Rossa first. Wow! This restaurant is now one of my favorites hands down. You forget you are @ The District as soon as you walk in and see the wood burning oven. We did not sit outside but it was very pretty. We met Valentina and learned the reason for Luna Rossa’s level of excellence is due to the fact that it is an Italian family owned and run business. The food is exceptional and the servers are knowledgeable. They make most of their pasta in house daily. My husband had their homemade short rib truffle ravioli and he said it was one of the most amazing meals he has had. This says allot as he is a food snob! In my mind, this place can’t be topped. Amazing! We can’t wait to go back!
