Good food. I had a lobster roll and house made chips. It was fresh and delicious. The lemon mayo on the lobster was all that (and a side of chips). Friendly staff to boot. If you are not from San Diego, have a Ballast Point. I like the Grunion. Yeah.
This place a good drive away from where I stay and was well worth it.Upon arrival, I was informed to check in for a free sample of the lobster toast which was a good tease for more grub lol. I came mainly because I’ve heard great things about the chowder fries but ordered more food to go with it.The lobster was great and had tons of flavor in the lobster roll. My next dish was the bacon wrapped lobster dog which was a great take on a bacon wrapped hot dog and was delicious and filling. The winner of the day was the dish I originally came for which was the chowder fries. They were so good I left not a single crumb nor drop of the chowder that topped the fries. I’d gladly drive for these fries any day.Great place for a lobster fan!Visit date 5/24/2014

AWESOME.. If by slap you mean high 5 then yes, definitely slap it silly.. We were told about the lobster rolls in this place and it lived up to expectations and then some.It would be a little offensive calling this a fast food joint, it’s definitely above that, even if it looks like one. They location is quite random, in a strip mall, but it had an OK outdoor seating area where we enjoyed the sunshine, and avoided the smell of cooking indoors.Anyway all that is small fry, what you NEED to know is GET the lobster roll with AWESOME sauce, and if ur not into sea food, get the burger with awesome sauce (just get the lobster bits on the side for your friends). We had the peach lemonade which we liked.Gourmet food for un-gourmet prices, AWESOME!
If you are looking for tasty sea food that comes in large quantities for cheap, come here! I came here with my very large family, and it was great! More than enough food to go around and kid friendly, we have 5! The tacos are amazing, don’t pass them up! the fish and chips were a little oily, but that could just be the cut of halibut, overall a perfect place to end a long day at the beach!
This place is great for groups, try one of everything and share. The fish tacos are good, but they’re overachievers, the pieces of fish make the tacos hard to eat and the plethora of ingredients end up confused, missing the point. The clam chowder is great with big pieces of potatoes and bacon. The clobster grilled cheese is the best, as long as you can get past the sometimes rubbery texture of the lobster. The side salad is a little boring, again with too many flavors that don’t quite add up.
