One of my favorite Neighborhood Fish Markets. Lightly battered fresh Fish, mouth watering side orders all in a huge dining room to enjoy them in. The prices are competitive , the service was quick and attentive with a huge parking lot to park in. letseatwithalicia.com
Not quite my first choice for seafood in LA… not that the food isn’t good..it’s fresh & always served hot. It just seems a tad overpriced for the amount of food that you get. I like the no nonsense, stripped down type vibe though…the atmosphere is inviting. Styrofoam, canned sodas, plastic forks & all the fixings. The wait was also a little long. Pretty cool people working behind the counter which definitely helps. Large, highly visible menu on outside of building. Looking for fried seafood? This is your spot.
This is the place if you like fried food. Chicken, catfish, oysters, snapper, and sole. And it’s not greasey problable due to the use of cornmeal instead of batter. The price is under $10 a dish. The restaurant is cafeteria stylewith food sit down service. The fried food is probably the best in LA.
