Great Sandwiches. The sandwiches are great here. I have been eating here for a couple months now and have tried many different sandwiches on the menu. Just low key enough. No big wigs just people who like good food and entertainment on the weekends thu-sun. No it’s not Subway or even Quiznos, yet similar sandwiches just healthier give it a try you will not regret come on down and join the party and good eating
Mike’s Deli, Fantastic! Fantastico!. I have dined at Mike’s Deli now for more than 5 years and I have to say, the sandwiches are top shelf, and first rate. My favorite is the ham and cheese with a honey mustard. The Pastrami is just as nice hot or cold, as with many of his sandwiches, esp. the Liverwurst, unbelievable!There are a number of Mike’s exclusives, but the single quality of Mikes is not only the quality, but the quantity on the sandwiches are his selling point ,and the reason for his large lunchtime crowds and repeat customer base.Come hungry, leave more than satisfied. I have gone to Mikes with what I thought was a healthy appetite, only to leave having to wrap the other half of the sandwich.Mikes is truly a find for an LA sub sandwich lover. The squaw bread also is on the level of the Cheesecake Factory’s top shelf breads. Mike’s has an array of law enforcement as customers as well, esp located at the crossroad where; LAPD, Culver City and Inglewood PD, and LA County Sheriff, including the Fire dept across the street. So, it has always been said, if cops eat there, the food is good. It is good!Try Mikes and you will become a regular attendee. Note; parking is scant, so if you’re in a hurry allow for extra steps to your dining. Carpool, if there’s an office lunchtime group. If you are smart you can ‘call ahead’ to save time.Located between LaBrea and La Cienega Blvds, on Slauson Ave. The location of Mikes is actually in the community of Ladera, near Ladera Heights. Fresh & Filling!!. First time customer yesterday. I had the chicken salad sandwich on squaw bread….delici-O-sous! So much meat and fresh veggies…..I had the other half of sandwich today for lunch! With chips, it was about 8 bucks for lunch and dinner. In these days and times, What a healthy bargain!!!
Hmmm! Good. I agree with one of the other users…that the pastrami is a bit salty. However, the hot wings are absolutely fabulous…and the tuna salad is quite good.
MIKE’S DELI (THE MECCA OF SANDWICHES). I was introduced to Mike’s Deli by my bestfriend. Although, I have driven pass this place daily during my drive to work, I never paid it much attention. Well since my first visit about a year ago I have been back weekly for my dosage of good eats. You cant go wrong with any choice. I recommend the chicken salad. It is unbelievably delicious!
I LOVE IT!!!!!!. I have to say that I have had the best sandwich in my life there. I live in Kansas city and WISH I could find a place that makes sandwichwes like this place. I am going through withdrawls 🙂
