When most chains set up shop in Inglewood you get the worst. Somehow service was better at this RL over the RL on Ventura Blvd AND THE RL IN VALLEJO!!! Inglewood I guess can get DOWN. This RL is the best RL yet.
Pleasantly surprised!. This being my first time dining at a Red Lobster, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Granted, it’s no Water Grill or Ocean Avenue Seafood, but it seemed to be decent comfort seafood. The restaurant itself was in better shape than I would have thought. While I was expecting a worn-down, rough-around-the-edges facility, this location was treated with dark woods, halogen spot lighting, and a fairly decent restroom.Food was filling and while a touch on the salty side, still satisfied and seemed well prepared. The dessert menu looked sinful as I would have expected for a national chain, though I did not have enough room left to indulge. Maybe next time as this casual eatery has deserved a second visit from me.
I’d recommend going somewhere else. I’ve been there twice. This Red Lobster is basically identical to any other. If you have the time I’d recommend driving out to Manhattan Beach, instead. If you live in this neighborhood, it’s the best eating you can find on Crenshaw.
