Fast, fresh, and GOOD. If you like soul food you MUST try this place. Brought to you by the same guy who was behind the great Dulan’s soul food restaurant. At Soul-Food Kitchen it’s served up cafeteria style, you just point to your favorite entree and pick 3 sides to go with it. All the entrees are great. My favorite is the baked chicken, but you can’t go wrong with ox tails, fried chicken, smothered chicken or whatever else you choose. The mac and cheese is a must and the cabbage and green beans are the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to top it off with a piece of homemade peach cobbler. You might want to bring a friend. The helpings are ample and there’s plenty to share.
