Give ’em some love. Vegan soul food? hell, yes! don’t pass up a chance to pay these folks a visit, as they’ve got some of the finest food in inglewood. make sure you order the kilamanjaro quesadilla; make sure you don’t wear a belt.14 Jul, 2011Vegan soul food!. We don’t understand what’s not to like about this place. you get a lot of bang for the buck, you get great service, and you get truly unique food. if you order nothing else, get the kilamanjaro quesadilla. we want one of those every week for the rest of our lives.

Really Healthy and Really Tasty!. OK I like to live a healthy lifestyle and will on occasion eat/drink stuff that’s good for me even if it’s not delicious. But when you can do something that’s good for your body and fun for your tongue at the same time, that my friend is a no-brainer. And that my friend is what they have on offer at Stuff I Eat.There are plenty of vegetarian joints to eat at (mostly on the Westside), and some of them make the food palatable. But very few of them have dishes you would actually describe as delicious. Stuff I Eat does. I’d eat their bean & rice taco even if it wasn’t good for me, because it is really, really yummy. We also got the Lava Burrito which is also very tasty and very filling. And for those of us in the Inglewood area it also means we finally can get some food that is both yummy and healthy right here in the hood!It may be a little daring opening a vegan restaurant in this part of town, but the food tastes so good it just may make more than a few Inglewoodians believers in the benefits of a healthy diet.

Why you so good, stuff i eat?. Yuuuuuuuummy. i had the soul food plate, and for $15 (yeah, this ain’t mcdonald’s) i ate potato salad, mac n cheez, yams, bbq tofu, cornbread (the one item that was not-so-hot), salad, and a healthy helping of greens. always a pleasure to find vegan restaurants outside the predictable west LA/hollywood zone, especially quality ones.
