BAD!!! Little food for the cost! Bad food. Delivery… We ordered for 5 people and the food was cold and only enough for 2 people! Wonton soup was had 6 wontons in it 4 carrot slivers and 3 celery slices and broth for 2 people using small bowls. The bill was over 100 and when I called to say we must be missing food the woman on the phone acted like she knew little English… And she was rude…. Never go there or order delivery from them. The only way they have any stars is because the people that work there are told to go on and review it. BAD BAD BAD!
Good. Have been looking for a place that is authentic and not overly Americanized. I think we found authentic here. The hot and sour soup was perfect and had quite the kick. Mongolian Beef was tender and flavorful. Szechuan chicken was flavorful and not overly spicy. Chicken was tender. Spring rolls were a little greasy and the Ran Goon was a little skimpy on the flavor, but both tasted great. We were the only caucasian’s in this place – the rest were native, which tells me the restaurant must be doing something right. A keeper in our book.
In a word: disappointing. I ordered the lunch special, Kung poa shrimp. The shrimp was slimy, the whole dish had no depth. Just a sweetness (not the right kind) and a garlic aftertaste. The water chestnuts were canned and most of the dish was undercooked onions. There was hardly any sauce, leaving the rice underneath bland and barely stained with any flavor. Plus out of the entire (and mostly empty) restaurant, they sat me right in front of the door, so I was accosted by whooshing cold air everytime someone opened the door. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place lacked everything I look for in a restaurant. Disappointing.
