Top Korean Food & Bar in SD. I have been coming to this place for a while now, and I must say. It is the best Korean restaurant in town. The bulgogi, galbi, fried wings and dumplings are awesome. Not to mention the flavored Soju. Try the Yogurt flavor, its surprisingly yummy. All I can say is wow to the food choices here :DAs for service, its pretty hard NOT to get a waiter. Each table has a buzzer. At the push of the button the waiter shows up and so service is quick. The place isnt cheap, at least by my standards. The average price per dish is around $12-$16. Best time to go is during happy hour if you want to drink up the Soju. $11 for a bottle, vice $22.The place is a little on the loud side. But if you want you can rent private karaoke rooms with full service for drinks and food. Corking fees do apply here, so its best to negotiate the price of the bottle if you want to bring your own. The manager gave me a fair deal per bottle.

They did have a rather nice selection of flavored soju, and the private karaoke rooms are a fun experience. If anything, Min Sok Chon is worth going to for drinks, karaoke and light snacks.
I had a terrible experience here back in novemeber and just wanted to reiterate so that other patrons don’t make the same mistake of dining here like I did. I wrote a review on yelp regarding this place because they also cheated our party saying we were missing some cash from our check when we didn’t. Thinking about this place really puts a sour taste on my tongue. I read similar review where they have cheated other customers in similar ways. If u do choose to go here anyway, be careful (and I mean extra careful) when u pay the check with cash.
