Terrible customer service. Erica was extremely rude to the customer in front of us at the register and after her rude remarks we decided to no longer eat there. We asked to speak with the manager and apparently she was the closest to a manager on site at the time. Poor excuse for customer service and she needs to learn how to treat customers.
Horrible service. Gave my order at 11:00 for a sit down lunch and waited 40 minutes and my food was not served. I decided to get my money back and that was it. Walked away and will never go back there. Poor customer service. Cashier is incompetent.
Decent sushi. Not for the sushi connoisseur. Sushi was not the best grade. Just decent.
Niban is a strong #2. It’s all in the name. This is not Ichiban (#1) this is Niban (#2) sushi, but it’s very edible (put a bit more wasabi in the finger-bowl and you won’t know the difference). Disclaimer: I haven’t been to the chain’s Ichiban or Sanban (#3) restaurants, but my guess is that they’re all serving the same #2 quality. In short, you can’t beat the prices: couple of designer rolls, an appetizer of Gyoza or Shumai, maybe a weak , scaled-down (but nevertheless tasty) rendition of Sukiyaki and a hot vase of sake will set you back maybe $25-30. Not bad, but also not for the discerning sushi palate.
