Absolutely in LOVE! I try a different sandwich and different soup every time I come here and I’m always extremely satisfied! The prices are very low and their beer selection is super extensive and unique. I’m officially a new regular can’t get enough of this place!
We were just in the neighborhood and stopped by O’Brien’s for lunch. Great variety on their menu, friendly staff and what we ordered (BBC Salads) was delicious.
Beer lover’s paradise. This is THE place in San DIego if you are a beer connoisseur. O’Brien’s is totally dedicated to beer as an art form. Their selection is constantly changing, and owner Tom Nickel keeps up a lively round of special tastings and keg tappings. The food is good, mostly burgers and sandwiches, but the beer is what makes the place special.

Awesome beer selection. Food-wise, it’s typical pub fare. The onion rings are especially tasty. But the real reason to come here is for the draft beer selections — especially if you are a hop-head.
