Been a customer here for over 30 years, still the same family run business with the same good food! I just had the Fegatini Di Pollo (chicken livers) fancy name but I hadn’t ordered them for awhile, still as good as ever. Chicken dishes are excellent, even the basic Lasgna and the raviolis all very good. Bottom line is I like it all here!
By far the Very Best Italian restaurant in Southern California! The service is always top-level, the menu and wine-list is spot in covering a wide-range of super-tasty Italian options. White tablecloth and highly attentive waiters, in Tux’s, make for a really special visit, lunch or dinner.This place has been a consistent top-notched go to place for our family for more than 30 years!!

First, we need to understand this is not the usual family dinner type Italian restaurant. It is NOT the typical budget south Italian restaurant. This is a pretty decent Italian restaurant – north Italy style, and operates in style.Very dim light, servers in black suits. Be ready to be treated how a don would be – if you have the attitude and the style yourself.Ambiance is very nice and upmarket. Food is good, portions are very conservative and prices are high. You cannot compare this with Buca Di Beppo where portions are very generous, but again, this is a different type of restaurant altogether.

Consistently Great Food and Service. A must when visiting my San Diego area clients. Lunch or Dinner, this place is reminiscent of a New York Italian restaurant. Dark, gaudy, but authentic. Consistently great food and service, I have never been disappointed.
NIce Place. I have been going there for a long long time. Love the fried Zucchini, the pastas are always tasteful. You can never go wrong with any of them. its an upper class Italian Restaurant that has always done well. Good for business lunches. just be prepared to go blind when you exit after eating in during the day, ( it is kind a dim inside..)
