The Big Blue Bear has a lovely ambience and is a nice place for refreshments. They also serve food and have a wine bar. We just had refreshments and their smoothie was very good, so would definitely recommend.
Who would have expected excellent espresso and fresh-out-of-the oven pastries in the tiny town of Kernville, California? If you’re in town for a holiday or simply passing through, stop in at the Big Blue Bear. You’ll be glad you did!

A must-stop to fill up on local food, coffee, beer and wine goodies! This cute little shop also has great indoor and outdoor seating views of the main Kernville circle and park. Highly recommended for families – they even serve ice cream!
