Carnitas tacos. Best carnitas ever26 May, 2010It is real deal mexican food. It’s a real hole in the wall but the food is real mexican home cooking. Best horchata in town. they actually make it there not from a mix. Best carnitas I’ve had. Pizole and carne asada was delicious too. Their tacos are $1.50 but they are really big. My mother(about 15 years ago) used to send me here to get chili rellanos, which she loved from here and she knew good mexican food. This place is really easy to miss and easy to write off if you’re driving by but I find that as far as mexican food is concerned that is normally a good thing. they have improved since I was there last; more seating, new paint, and they take credit cards. They were WAY busier than they used to be. they also have sit down service and are very friendly. If you are thinking of going to La Tapatia close by across the street I would suggest you check this place out for their superior prices, quality, and authenticity.
