I’ve eaten here numerous time and haven’t had a bad meal, love the soups. Tempted to true the regular dishes but always fall back on my favorites. Servers are polite and helpful and give good suggestions to try. Not unusual wait to but never very long during the day not sure how the evening crowd is. If your looking for a quite place this is not it, noise level is high but well worth a try. Highly recommend it.

No bueno. Just ordered today pho they call #1 and pork bhan mi…the flavor was okay ( i’ve tasted better) but what got to me was the meat (could be roast pork or something but couldn’t really say) looked like left overs since they looked more like shavings that slices, crumbly shavings. i’m also used to having the hoisin sauce and chili sauce in separate containers ( i’m not really a fan of spicy foods…not that i won’t eat it) not mixed into one container. and the people were just cold and looked so unemotional you’d think they were zombies. not again!there’s a place i go to at the corner of carson street and crenshaw in torrance…now that’s a great place, good food and friendly staff. too bad about blue lotus since i’m a carson resident.
It’s hard to believe that this restaurant was once a Del Taco. Although the outer structure is still reminiscent of a drive-thru fast food joint, the interior is somewhat upscale, trendy, and modern for a Vietnamese restaurant. Not only was the decor chic, the food was quite tasty, yet affordable!
