No comparison. I am an East coaster living in LA who has been rubbing my friends noses in the fact that they can’t have in n out. Other than selling the same product there is no comparison between Five guys and In N Out. In N Out is great, the burgers however are small, the condiments are what makes that burger. Five guys burger is awesome. It’s thick and well cooked. Getting a double burger is downright glutinous. They are that big. The condiments are equally as great and you have far greater choices at Five guys. Five guys also has, probably, the best grilled cheese I have ever shared wih my son. So good. The fries are no comparison. The fries at five guys kill the fries at in n out. The only difference is the price. It’s more expensive by about 30%. However, I think it is well worth it. I traveled the 15 minutes and braved the freeway to get the location near me. Would happily do it again.
7/10 on 5/1/10 was our first time at five guys bugers and frys in Carson. Since we didn’t know what to expect we see it as a cross between in and out burger and fudruckers. Burgers are fresh and you get to pick the toppings (pickles, mushrooms, lettuce, etc). Burgers were a 7/10. Fresh but not alot of taste. Galic frys are very good 8/10.
Great burger!. This place is great if you just want a good hamburger made how you like it. Get a burger with a Coke and cajun fries–they’re delicious!

Great burgers. Freshly made burgers and you put what ever toppings you want on it and the fries are good too! Go for the Garlic fries!
