Toppings Galore!!!Me and friends had to finally try the pizza here after having this place bookmarked for a few years now. I’ve read how generous they are with the toppings here and after witnessing it first hand…generous is an understatement. We ordered the Rosario’s special that came meats piled on top of meats piled on top of meats. This pizza is a meat lovers dream. Not to mention its tasty as well. You would think with so much meat being stacked on one another that some would come under cooked but that wasn’t the case. The pizza was cooked all throughout and the crust had a nice crunch. The decor of the restaurant gives off an old pizza parlor vibe with a friendly staff. The menu prices may also seem a little steep but is well worth it given the amount of food provided. If I’m ever in the area again, I know where to go if I’m looking to have a fully loaded pizza.Visit Date 4/30/2016

Bad Pizza. Last Friday my husband and I tried Rosario’s Pizza for the first time and we trusted the positive reviews and bypassed the negative one(s). Unfortunately, this was the WORST pizza we ever had. The pizza box felt heavy and we thought, oh, this should be delicious and we assumed wrong. When we looked at the pizza it looked like it had slop on it. My husband ordered pepperoni and I ordered the vegetarian. My husband’s side of the pizza looked like it had Sloppy Joe poured all over it. My side had the canned mushrooms and what looked like canned bell peppers on it. I expected fresh ingredients and didn’t get them. To boot, the pie was a little burnt. Needless to say the thought of it made us feel sick. It was OVERPRICED too. If you want to try a GOOD pizza, go to TARANTINO’s in Pasadena on Green Street. A little pricey though. It’s a small place and the dinner hour gets busy but they serve a fresh and delicious pie! Calzones are good too. Another GOOD pizza place to go to is Filipe’s (not sure of spelling) in San Diego in the Little Italy district. We’ve been there several times. You have to wait in line but it’s worth it. The antipasta salad is good too.
Good food!! Sandwiches are so delicious good ingredients we always call take out orders. If you like Italian try Rosario’s… Oh yeah K. B. I did this for you?
I love Rosario’s pizza! This place can pile in the toppings so be careful about ordering extra anything. Their sauce is amazing as well. If you are a thin crust fan this may not be the pizza for you bit I suggest you try it first. You simply cannot put that amount of stuff on a thin crust. My favorite is the pepperoni with easy sausage. YUM! The staff is friendly and make sure to give yourself some time because real pizza like this takes 30 minutes if there is no wait. And if it’s fight night or the big game, order early!
