  You’ll feel European-. I always feel like I am really somebody when I stop in here. it is a good place to get coffee and pastry in the middle of a bike ride. avoid this place the day before any holiday. it is a nightmare getting waited on.

  A victim of it’s own success. Emporio Rulli has become a victim of it’s own success. They are so busy making money that they can longer be bothered providing anything even vaguely resembling decent service to their loyal customers. The service has always been poor but now it’s downright abysmal. And furthermore they do not seem to care. But they are expanding and times change. They may want to rethink their service problem.I strongly advise you to avoid this place at all costs during the holidays when the service goes from abysmal to absolutely atrocious. Things are so bad there that they no longer answer the telephone during the holidays nor do they allow you to leave a message. If you have a problem with your order… well, it’s your problem not theirs.24 Dec, 2007A victim of their own success. Poor Emporio Rulli has become a victim of it’s own success. The food is good but the service is atrocious and gets worse with each passing year. They act like they’re doing you a favor by selling anything at all to you. That’s an attitude I don’t need when there are so many other fine bakeries around. The success has gone to their collective heads and it will eventually hurt their business as other people get tired of spending all that money on poor quality service.
