I’ve never had Jamaican food before and I was pleasantly surprised by this quiet hole-in-the-wall, tucked away to the side within a quaint little grocery market. The man who served us was so warm and welcoming, and very helpful in helping choose something from their large menu, it was very nice and not at all scary to try something new which was great. The food was also very good despite the slightly run-down appearance of the place. I’d recommend the jerk chicken, which was falling off the bone and came with a spicy sauce and a jus (juice that came off the meat as it cooked)…. Delicious. The portions were large as well so I had some pretty tasty leftovers 🙂
