We got the shisho age which was ground tuna wrapped in shisho leaves and fried in a tempura batter, Daikoku Ramen and the Spicy Miso Ramen. The Shisho age was actually pretty nice. Both the daikoku ramen and the spicy Miso ramen were pretty good, The broth was very flavorful and fatty which was great. I also like the side condiments of pickled garlic.Overall good bowl of ramen. foodiemuggles.com
Great place to satiate that late night craving! Decent portion sizes and good prices. And the food itself is amazing! Very cozy atmosphere, and great aesthetics.

After some good we finally found us a place at daikokuya. Such a busy ramen restaurant in little tokyo with a nice down to earth setting. I had mixed sashimi, it was very good. I was expecting an exceptional ramen but i was a bit disappointed with the taste. My friends on table had the same impression. Maybe its the high expectation maybe a wring day. Staff are super nice and welcoming. Will try it again.
My go to place for ramen cravings. Can really taste the flavor of the soup. Recently tried the shredded pork bowl.It was quite filling and tasted delicious.
Was in little Tokyo and wanted to give it a go. Coming from Vancouver, I wanted to give this place a go. My cousin have told me about this place and I wanted to compare it to Vancouver ramen. It is a large ramen shop.Busy… I found that the ramen itself was great, but it was on the salty side for the broth. The prices is comparable to Vancouver.
Ramen was delicious – you can really taste the pork flavor infused into the soup. They have big servings so don’t get the combination of ramen and rice unless you’re sharing with someone! I also tried the pork rice bowl which was full of melt in your mouth pork belly. It was generous but very very oily. I also liked their miso soup and would recommend trying that for sure. The wait time is long for good reason however if you want a place to sit down and chat I’d consider going somewhere else because you need to leave once you are done eating. The food also comes out super quick! tangertalks.wordpress.com
