An Awesome Waiter. So this place is pretty bad ass. The waiter we had was a total cool dude and kept checking on us to see how we were doing. The best part was that he actually helped us save money on our drink selection. I wish I could have taken down his name, because that guy was awesome. The food and drink is pretty great too and you can’t beat the prices. Get the warm Sake, $4 during happy hour.

One of the best. Ebisu is one of the finest Japanese restaurants in the LA area. The food is on par with the best Japanese restaurants in the west side. The difference is in the price. Ebisu prices are reasonable. The service is very friendly and attentive and the decor is nice29 Dec, 2009Ebisu a great restaurant. Ebisu used to be an above average restaurant. Now with a new chef it is definitely one of the best Japanese rrestaurants in the los Angeles area. The food is very creative and the special menu changes daily. Most clientele is japanese and this is a good sign. The best dishes are the sautee scallops, the sautee salmon and the negi toro roll. Our family drives there from west La,and ,believe me, itis worth the trip.29 Dec, 2009A great restaurant. Ebisu used to be an above average restaurant.
