I have been missing out. My wife and i have lived in the area for 10 years and somehow have been missing out on this spot across the street from our Lincoln Heights post office. The first thing that i noticed were the city vehicles out front, (city workers know where all the good spots are) The next good omen was that the joint was packed with locals. Everything was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The salsa was amazing, handmade tortillas, crunchy chiliquiles (they are usually soggy) and a very friendly staff. I am looking forward to many more fantastic meals at this authentic neighborhood gem. I strongly suggest that you try this place if in the neighborhood, or even make a special trip, it is worth it.

Mexican Cuisine. Excellent food, generous portions, great service, reasonable prices. The freshest food in town, when they serve you rice and beans they are still steaming warm.Excellent fresh juice drinks, especially cucumber, horchata and strawberry. The steak picado is the best in town. The fresh hand made corn tortillas are their trademark. Elaborate seafood platters. No parking lot, but you can park on the street, and at neighboring businesses.Small dining room, there is often a wait for a table at their predictably busiest times.
