it was time for some quality sushi I was craving for uni that night.I loved the Toro and the uni the most The Toro literally melted in my mouth. And the sweetness of the uni was a very lovely enjoyment in the mouth. Salmon Belly was also fresh and delicious. The yellowtail belly was alright, I’m just not a fan of this type of fish.

My 98 year old Gma loves their sushi. I like the oyako don.

For Little Tokyo, the price is inexpensive. However, the food is best described as mediocre. I ordered the oyako donburi and it was pretty plain. The wait time was very long, but expected for this area. Overall I would only give this place 6.5/10.

Uh, No.. Have eaten here twice. The last time was a few years ago. Ordered some sushi which was very good. Also had the ebi tempura and teriyaki chicken. Tempura batter was gummy and thick. Teriyaki was fatty and cold. In fact, both items were cold. Tried this place again a year later and ordered the same thing. Same story. Atmosphere is great, food, not so much. Service was below standard. Won’t be back.

One of my fav’s. When we go to Little Tokyo, this is one of two places we find consistently good food and service. Good prices and Japanese owner is friendly.

Sushi and more…. The sushi at Oomasa some of the best to be had anywhere. The fish is fresh, the rolls are beautiful and the wasabi is the hottest anywhere. In addition to the sushi, Oomasa tempura menu items are light, crisp and flavorful. Two in our party ordered noodle dishes and were very pleasently surprised. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful.

Good traditional sushi restaurant. I ate at the bar with wifey. We had a good time – sushi was very solid, atmosphere is friendly and family oriented.
