Got into town late, checked in the hotel, looking for something besides drive thru, called this place for take out, a guy named Jim answered, I start to order he says just come in the restaurant! It will taste so much better, I said no, we are tired, he says I’ll buy you a glass of wine if you come in, and for your husband too. It was only 1/2 mile away… Told the hostess our conversation with Jim, she said he’s the owner! Had a special table set up for us with 2 glasses of wine waiting! The food was so delicious – bruschetta was as beautiful as it tasted, while you wait for your meal they bring you a fresh out of the oven bread with parm cheese and olive oil drizzled over… Dessert was a frozen double chocolate mousse…we were so happy Jim convinced us to come in…thank you Jim and Annette

Great service. Great food. Great experience. Big surprise. Fair prices.Back again 2 years later and it’s as good as I remember it. Business men doing deals, extended families at long tables, pairs of tourists all having a good time. Most with a glass of wine – this is Lodi, remember. Be prepared for a LOT of food, but it’s all good. Bruschetta good with a splash of olive oil. Minestrone outstanding. Pasta well cooked and the signature ravioli flavorful. Servers excellent – friendly and helpful with good suggestions. We loaded up our leftovers in boxes and split a dish of spumone but the other desserts sounded good. I am sure this is one of Lodi’s old standbys.
The owner personally greeted us and welcomed us to his absolutely gorgeous restaurant. There are numerous raised beds with wonderful vegetables and melons. The wait staff brought us complimentary melon before we ordered. The Tuesday night pasta special is a great deal and comes with salad and bread and dessert along with fabulous pasta. The ravioli is a house special – a genovese ravioli with a calabrese sauce. It is wonderful!! The house wine at $4 a glass is great!! We will be back again!!
Really good food and excellent wait staff. Try the 7 Deadly Zins from Michael-David winery.
Walked in wearing t shirt, shorts & flip flops. I felt a little out of place but they treated us great! If you like Italian this is a good place with friendly staff. My 1 yer old liked the spagetti; while my wife and I enjoyed the lasagna. Good sausage also
