I wasn’t very happy with the service. We just moved into town. Today was my first time coming to the restaurant. I went in to order take out and no one acknowledged my presence for 12 minutes. Finally a young girl asked if I had been helped and I informed her I would like to order the meals to go. Then someone else walked in. The young girl said ok and left me at the entrance while she seated the person behind me. I thought she was coming back but she never did.Another 8 minutes went by and a second young lady offered to help me. I explained what had happened and she apologized. She immediately took my order and offered my son and I water while we waited. Even when her shift ended she was very nice and assured us the order is being made and will be out soon. When the order came, it was the first girl. She placed our order on the counter and took my card to process the payment. Then she left both receipts, a pen, and my card in a cup that she placed on the counter. Then again she left and never came back.I can understand restaurants can get busy but there were very few people at the resturant. I could hear the music in the background and the cooks coughing in the back. By the time my son and I left, we had been there for almost 40 mintues. If the service was better I would come back because my family likes to eat pho. The previous places where we got pho, the people would get to know us by name. Too bad. Now we are on the search for a better restaurant.

Had the misfortune of visiting A Dong for lunch. The service was rather bad as my bowl of pho took over thirty mins to get to me even though there were only two other tables being served. The waitress never gave me a refill of water even though I asked twice and the pho was rather bland. Too bad, since I love pho and would have been happy with even an average effort. I shared my experience with some friends at work and they told me they independently had similar bad experiences with the service and as such never go for lunch even though it us close.
Nothing wrong with A Dong. Disregard the review by Alicia P. The person who owns A Dong also owns Pho Ngo Gai. Be wary of trusting reviews that are not supported by photos or check-ins. Don’t all smartphones have cameras? Not starting a feud, but prior to making such negative assertions, one should be willing to offer proof of their visit. : D
Bad service, bad wait staff, bad tasting pho. Don’t waste your money here.
Food is always good & service is always slow.
