Fresh. Excellent. A great buffet.
Attention Med/Pharma reps this place is a disaster. I had a good experience the first time here and I brought in a party of 10. We were an easy group and the restaurant was pretty empty. The manager pointed out that they could handle larger events upstairs and could provide a/v services. Recently, I tried to book an event here and gave them plenty of notice. As we got closer to the event I told them I would give them a more accurate head count. I said to expect at least 20 people. The manager quoted me a buffet style/self serve meal for around twenty dollars. The next day I get a call from the manager and she tells me that they are not taking reservations for the meeting room but If I wanted I could have it for a $900 fee not including the food. She told me that she could not honor the price for such a small group. She tried to tell me that she thought I was someone else and that I do not listen very well. She told me that I pretended to be someone else??? (little nutsy)I called around and book my meeting with someone else. I went with the SB Hilton. I called and told her I would never do business with this place ever. This place is sooooo UNPROFESSIONAL, lacks experience in large groups, under staffed, disorganized, does not honor their agreements, and is not up front with people. If I was the owner of this place and I was reading this review, I would be really upset that some crazy unprofessional woman with no business savvy, about to ruin my business and is generating bad reviews on the internet. If I was the owner of this place, I would call her out on all of the negative reviews and most likely fire her. I am sure the owner has quite a bit invested in this place as it is clean, new and has potential. My advise, don’t book your event here. I work in the medical industry and have done hundreds of presentations at restaurants and this is possibly the worst experience I have had in 24 years. What a hassle it was to change locations a week before my event but worth going with a reputable organization like the Hilton. These people can not be trusted. I hope this review helps my fellow med reps!
