First, I have been to the Red Wasabi around 50 times in a year. It is my husband and my favorite restaurant in theLoma Linda/Redlands area.When first approaching the Red Wasabi, you will notice the beautiful wooden picnic benches and succulents that line the entrance. The tables seat about 8 and are a great choice for seating on those cool summer days. As you enter the Red Wasabi, you are immediately greeted by the kind staff and encouraged to seat yourself at any of the booths and tables filling the room. The sushi is prepared in view of the indoor seating and is manned by one of their very pleasant sushi-chefs. Your meal begins with fresh edamame and warm Miso Soup. The selection of hot teas is excellent–my personal favorite being the green tea which has a hint of brown rice making the tea smooth, without bitterness. The fresh sushi comes in various fish selections including red snapper and traditional salmon. If you are feeling moreadventurous, you may chose eel or roe sushi as well. The rolls are all excellent. I have tried most rolls and can say that both vegetarian and traditional rolls are excellent and satisfying. The staff is incredibly helpful and will suggest rolls based on your personal preferences. The prices are also competitive. You certainly get quality for a reasonable price.
